Baja Communications Group, publishers of Baja Life Magazine, announces the formation of the Baja Life Foundation (BLF), a private non-profit organization created to serve as a conduit for corporations and individuals that are interested in supporting the protection and preservation of Baja California’s most sensitive ecosystems.

In the coming months, the BLF will direct a great part of its efforts to supporting the federally-mandated marine reserves of Cabo Pulmo and Loreto – two very important and sensitive ecosystems that are vulnerable to the negative impact of increased development activity.

BLF supports first and foremost all educational efforts that will sensitize and create awareness amongst the young generations of both Baja and the rest of the world.

BLF acts as a platform for governmental and non-governmental entities to educate concerned people about the immediate and long term needs of areas in need of protection.

BLF provides communities and individuals involved in preservation and educational efforts with both print and web-based publications as an opportunity to voice their accomplishments.
